Lovells has lost New York tax partner Joseph Gruber, who is leaving the top 10 London firm to take up a senior in-house role at manufacturing and electronic giant, Tyco.
Gruber joined Lovells in 1999 from Shearman & Sterling to establish the London firm’s US tax capacity. He leaves Lovells’ nine-partner branch to join Tyco’s tax department as senior director of tax planning and analysis.
