Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is drawing up plans to launch a branch in China, in a move that could give the Silicon Valley giant its first base outside of the US.
The firm has an informal group analysing China headed by Jeffrey Saper, the firm’s main international partner, although it has not yet applied to the local Ministry of Justice for the licence necessary to open in the mainland.
