Linklaters and Norton Rose have taken key roles on the £270m financing of a gas power plant to be located at Tynagh, County Galway in Ireland.
Linklaters advised the senior lenders, KBC Finance Ireland, The Royal Bank of Scotland, IIB Bank and Ulster Bank Ireland, while Norton Rose acted for Investec Bank (UK) as mezzanine arranger and shareholder in the project financing of Tynagh Energy (TEL), which has acquired the site for the plant.
