Hummingbird has moved to quash rumours that it is to withdraw official support to its older document management systems (DMS’) as a number of leading law firms, including Allen & Overy, Charles Russell, Eversheds and Wragge & Co, pilot a new version of the Hummingbird’s Enterprise DMS.
Stories that the company was due to withdraw back-up from its version 3 document management DMS, Docs Open, forcing many law firms to upgrade to Enterprise or choose another supplier, are untrue said technical director Iain Jones.
