Cliff Fluet was appointed to the position of director of legal affairs and company secretary at Capital Radio in July this year. He joined the commercial broadcaster three years ago, rising to head of group legal affairs in October 2002 and taking on the company secretary role this summer.
The legal team is small but presides over a very broad range of work. Capital boasts 22 analogue licences and 59 digital licences, and is in acquisitive mode – its stated strategic objective is to build a national presence for the business in the UK.
