Corporate counsel in the US are braced for a further increase in the frequency of litigation, but they are unhappy with the cost of defending their companies.
This is a key finding of a survey of 300 US in-house counsel on litigation trends that saw 41% of the respondents saying they expected their caseload to increase, with just 13% expecting a decrease.
