Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) achieved FAST Gold Accreditation at the end of May 2004. This marked the end of a two year period of activity on this project and fulfils one of my objectives – which is to ensure that the people and processes of the BLP IT team are as professional as the quality and work of the lawyers in the firm.
Lawyers go through a long and intense period of training, not just the formal part of the degree and post graduate qualifications, but the lengthy learning experience, which turns a newly-qualified lawyer into an outstanding practitioner. To meet their demands it is important for the IT team and its work to be based on high professional standards.
