Hammonds’ dispute resolution head, Peter Crossley, looks set to become the firm’s managing partner when Chris Jones steps down next May after nine years in the role.
Although a number of other partners were tipped as contenders for the role, including London head of finance Andrew Watson and head of the Manchester office Liam Buckley, Crossley was the only person to put his name forward when the deadline for nominations closed on Monday (19 July).
