Three-quarters of leading business lawyers are expecting an increase in US-style shareholder litigation in the UK, according to the results of a new survey.
The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey of more than 100 senior lawyers found 63% predicting that the frequency of shareholder litigation will ‘increase a little’ during the next five years. Twelve percent of respondents were bracing themselves for a major increase.
