BLP moves to ride out Tesco claim

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has pledged to maintain its close links with Tesco, one of its biggest clients, despite last week’s news that the supermarket giant is suing the firm for nearly £1m.

The firm is being sued by Tesco over a contractual dispute connected with the supermarket giant’s acquisition of a site in Liverpool in 1999 where it was looking to build a supermarket.
