The Legal Services Ombudsman Zahida Manzoor has called on the Government to strip the Law Society of its complaints handling powers when the Clementi review is concluded at the end of the year – and has also hit out at Chancery Lane’s senior management.
Manzoor, who last year said that taking complaints handling away from Chancery Lane might be “throwing the baby out with the bath water,” made her comments in her annual report, published today (6 July).
