Clifford Chance (CC) is pulling the plug on its San Francisco and Los Angeles offices despite months of claims that the firm would keep all its West Coast offices open.
The decision sees the two offices, which house 11 partners and 27 lawyers, wound down in July and comes two years after CC launched in California with a dramatic raid on Brobeck Phleger & Harrison.
