The City of London Law Society (CLLS) has warned the Government that it risks breaching human rights law if it strips the Law Society of its regulatory brief.
The warning comes in the CLLS’ submission to Prudential chairman Sir David Clementi’s review of legal services, in which it calls on the Law Society’s regulatory brief to be preserved.
