fsa: has set out its proposalsUK business has been hit with a double whammy as proposals from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Financial Services Authority (FSA) look set to step up regulatory controls on corporate governance in a move to stave off further corporate financial scandal.

In a consultation paper published at the end of last week, the FSA, which monitors companies’ compliance with the combined code, set out proposals that would require company auditors to review internal controls of all listed companies.
