Simmons beats magic circle to New Look win

Simmons & Simmons has been named as the lead corporate adviser to fashion store chain New Look, ahead of three magic circle firms.

The decision, announced last month, comes after the firm was instructed by New Look for the first time in February, after winning a beauty parade to advise on its £699m private equity-backed management buy-out.
