This week, Legal Week unveils a new look and an important new section. First the look. Five years after this magazine launched as the first weekly magazine to focus exclusively on the business law sector, it was time freshen up the design.

Now for the new section. One of this magazine’s more original features when we launched in January 1999 was the Deal Week section at the back. The idea was to emphasise the importance this magazine places on deal reporting, by giving Deal Week its own ‘front page’. After all, deals provide the fuel on which firms run. This week, we add even more clout to Legal Week‘s back pages with the introduction of a new Legal Director section, overseen by associate editor Mary Mullally. At the same time, we are significantly boosting Legal Week‘s circulation to corporate counsel to 8,000.
