Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and top Japanese firm Andersen Mori have advised Shinsei Bank on its $2.2bn (£1.2bn) global IPO, securing lead roles on one of the largest ever offerings in the country.
The float, which attracted some of Japan’s top capital markets lawyers, saw Shinsei offer 440 million common stock shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange with a rule 144A offering for international investors.
