Allen & Overy (A&O) has restructured its German corporate team to bring the magic circle firm’s practice closer to its other major offices.
Helge Schaefer, a corporate partner based in the firm’s 30-lawyer Hamburg arm, has been installed as the managing partner of the corporate practice for Germany, in a move the firm said would “harmonise A&O’s corporate structure with the rest of the firm worldwide”.
