Lovells has hired a dispute resolution partner from the New York arm of Clifford Chance (CC) as the UK firm becomes the latest to profit from the string of defections from CC’s Manhattan base.
Joe Cyr, who started at the London firm’s 40-strong US litigation practice on 1 April, had been with CC since 2000 when he joined from Morgan Lewis & Bockius.
