The Bar’s independent complaints commissioner Michael Scott has admitted that he has himself been the subject of a successful complaint in an embarrassing episode for the bar.
Speaking to journalists on the release of his annual report into complaints against barristers, Scott last week admitted that his office had been subject to a £500 fine from the Legal Services Ombudsman Zahida Manzoor for poorly handling a complaint.
