America’s top law firms have harnessed the recovery in the US economy to post blistering increases in fees and profits, according to Legal Week research that shows the national top 50 last year averaging growth in excess of 10%.
The results of Legal Week‘s eagerly-awaited 2003 US financial rankings show that the top 50 firms by revenue averaged growth in fees of 10.3% – pushing annual revenues for ranked firms to $28.84bn (£15.6bn), while average profits per partner were up 10.2%.
