DLA has confirmed its rise towards the upper echelons of the UK legal market after securing that traditional status symbol of the magic circle – involvement in an alleged conflict of interest.
The deal has seen the firm – which last year ran a high profile media campaign stressing its cultural differences from top City lawyers – act on both sides on Quintessential Hotel’s acquisition of the Midland Crown Plaza Manchester from Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG).
