Class action giant Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach has been branded as potential “highway robbers in pinstriped suits” by the US Chamber of Commerce in the latest battle between corporate America and the plaintiff bar.
The comparison came in a statement issued last week by the chamber, the main representative body of corporate America, to coincide with a letter sent to Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chairman William Donaldson.
