Senior lawyers have overwhelmingly backed the Lord Chief Justice Lord Woolf’s high profile attacks on the Government’s judicial reform programme, according to Legal Week research.
The latest Legal Week/ EJ Legal Big Question survey of more than 100 leading lawyers found 91% of respondents backing Woolf’s stance despite the unusual ferocity of the judge’s criticisms.
