DLA and Bird & Bird have bolstered their respective profiles in the busy tech procurement sector after advising the Department of Health and BT on a £530m deal to link up hospitals around the country.
The high-profile deal, which makes the National Health Service (NHS) the first major user of broadband capacity in the public sector, sees the Government out-source the installation and management for its entire broadband services to BT.
