Allen & Overy (A&O) has lost out to Eversheds with client Atkins Nutritionals dropping the City giant in favour of the national firm.
Eversheds won out in a competitive tender to become sole HR and food regulation adviser to the European arm of Atkins Foods, the private company that owns and markets the controversial Atkins Diet. The firm will now do all of Atkins’ European employment and HR work, as well as advising on food ingredients and packaging. Eversheds was told that it had won the work late last month.
