The Canadian Bar Association (CBA) has pledged to fight radical proposals by Canada’s main bar to allow law firms to float.
The pledge follows news that the treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) had asked the society’s ethics committee to consider how a Canadian law firm would be able to access “the modern capital market”.
