Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is to lose two of its Italian practice’s founding partners in the “coming weeks” due to strategy differences.
One senior UK Freshfields partner confirmed to Legal Week that Paolo Colucci and Giovanni Lega would soon be leaving the firm to launch their own firm.
The Freshfields partner added that the firm was “discussing leaving terms” with the two partners and that the departures were due to the development of the firm rather than personal differences.
