Tax row firm head stands down

The chairman of embattled Texas firm Jenkens & Gilchrist has stepped down just two months into a one-year management term.

William Durbin, who had already served two terms as chairman, announced this week that he was to resign as chairman and CEO in order to return to full-time fee-earning.
