KLegal’s UK operation will re-brand as McGrigors on 1 February as the group struggles to reach a consensus on proposals to relaunch the international network as a ‘federation’ of law firms.
The decision – which ends the KLegal name – comes as German member Beiten Burkhardt, considered the leading continental member in the former KPMG network, is close to rejecting the new federation structure, according to senior sources at the firm.
