I was recruited to join Sears in 1999 by the then CEO Arthur Martinez. At Sears, I focused on a complete reorganisation of the legal department, which resulted in dramatic cost savings for the company. After a successful tenure, I left Sears in January 2003 as part of a mutual agreement with CEO Alan Lacy, who succeeded Arthur Martinez.
