High-tech court rooms took a further step into the future with one of the first deployments of virtual reality crime scene reconstructions.
A road traffic case in Belfast saw the reconstruction of the crime scene which convinced the jury that the defendant could not have seen what the prosecution alleged and consequently returned a not guilty verdict.
