Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton has hired respected M&A and communications partner Klaus Riehmer for its Frankfurt arm as the New York firm continues to bulk up its German practice.
Riehmer joins as the office’s ninth partner from independent German firm Haarmann Hemmelrath & Partner, where he had been a partner since 1997. His client base includes Vodafone, Swisscom and Star Telecom.
