The Law Society of Scotland has decided to pull the plug on LawSeal, the ambitious IT project that was to have provided all Scottish law firms with a secure means of sending and receiving documents over e-mail and working online.
LawSeal was the flagship project of the society’s IT department – a public key infrastructure (PKI) security system developed in partnership with Trustis and the software solutions division of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
