Jersey-based Ogier & Le Masurier is merging with Cayman Islands firm Boxalls in the first transatlantic combination of offshore law firms.
The tie-up will see the 60-lawyer Ogier team up with 10-lawyer Boxalls. The two firms, regarded as market leaders in their respective jurisdictions, will combine from 1 February 2004.

The merged firm will rebrand as Ogier & Boxalls in the Cayman Islands whilst Ogier’s Jersey and Guernsey practices will continue under the name Ogier & Le Masurier.
