The European Court of Justice has delivered a key ruling that has been hailed as a major step towards the establishment of a single European law degree.
The judgment, handed down on 13 November, granted a French trainee lawyer the right to become a trainee in Italy without completing a local law degree, despite only having French legal qualifications.
