If information is essentially neutral, when does good information become bad information? If you are running a small-to-medium-sized in-house department and you are spending more time processing incoming information than using it to hone the advice that you are giving your corporate client, then something is awry.

For instance, it might be information that is pertinent to the type of advice you are offering, but it arrives in a format that your IT structure finds hard to deal with.
