Blackstone calls in Freshfields on key deal

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s hopes of breaking into the international private equity market have received a boost after winning its first major deal for leading US house Blackstone Group.

The appointment sees Freshfields advise on Blackstone’s £722m acquisition of Deutsche Bank’s European property portfolio.
