The good old Bar Council has excelled itself yet again by refusing to reply to the Lord Chancellor’s consultation on constitutional reform on time.
The deadline was 7 November but Bar Council chairman Matt “we will fight the Government tooth and claw” Kelly decided that the Lord Chancellor, Lord Falconer would have to wait until this week to read its words of wisdom.
