Linklaters ditches German 'junior partner' title

Linklaters is moving to phase out the position of ‘junior partner’ in Germany after mounting pressure from the firm’s London base to bring its local career structure in line with other offices.

The decision, which was quietly taken last year, has seen the leading UK firm stop appointing
so-called junior partners in Germany.
