Irish law firm A&L Goodbody has appointed Julian Yarr as head of its London branch. The M&A specialist will relocate from Dublin to head up the UK office on 24 November. He takes over from Paul White, who is returning to Dublin.
In addition, the firm has hired TMT/IP specialist John Whelan from City giant Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a partner to work in its Dublin office.
