KLegal’s UK management is pressing ahead with plans to forge a new international grouping by the end of its financial year next September when its ‘divorce’ from accountancy parent KPMG is finalised.
The move comes in response to KPMG’s dramatic decision – revealed exclusively on 6 November by Legal Week – to abandon its four-year bid to build a global law firm and cut all formal links with its legal network.
