In-house lawyers are now managing their relationships with key external providers more proactively and are determined to continue trying to extract further value for money, according to the latest Legal Director Benchmarker survey, conducted in association with Pinsents. As the head of legal of one communications business says: “We have an annual review to keep the firms on their toes”.
More than two-thirds of in-house legal departments have actively reviewed their law firms in the past year, the survey found.
