Weil Gotshal secures hire of lead CC antitrust team

Weil Gotshal & Manges has secured a dramatic boost to its competition practice after hiring a team led by Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) global antitrust chief and sole US former super-plateau partner Steven Newborn.

Newborn and a team of fellow partners, John Scribner, James Egan and Laura Wilkinson, moved to Weil Gotshal’s 14-partner Washington DC arm last month.
