KLegal network faces uncertain future as independent federation of law firms

KPMG has abandoned its high profile bid to build a global law firm, with the accountancy giant this month confirming a full split from its 3,000-lawyer network KLegal.
In a statement issued to Legal Week Global, the big four accountant said: “KPMG International [has] said that it will stop providing full-scope legal services, and that its associated legal network – KLegal – is to be discontinued.”
