Norton Rose has sidelined three magic circle panel rivals to advise HSBC Holdings on its $1.3bn (£762m) acquisition of Bank of Bermuda.
The City firm was instructed to advise the valued banking client on UK and Hong Kong aspects of the transaction ahead of HSBC’s other corporate advisers Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
