The US corporate market looks set to return to health with news of the closure of Bank of America’s $47bn (£27.6bn) acquisition of FleetBoston Financial.
The transaction has also closed in the same week that Anthem acquired Wellpoint Health Networks for $16.4bn (£9.6bn) to form the largest US health insurer.
