Hammonds has won a new client, the recently independent brewers T&R Theakston, the North Yorkshire producers of famed real ale, Old Peculier.
The Leeds office of the national firm advised the Theakston family on their management buy-in of the business, estimated at £10m. The company has been in the hands of brewing giant Scottish & Newcastle (S&N) since it was bought out in 1987.
