By all accounts, Max Audley (below), the London head of corporate at Faegre Benson Hobson Audley, is enjoying life following his firm’s merger with Minneapolis-based Faegre & Benson.
Indeed, startling evidence has reached The Diary from the US that the merger may have rejuvenated Audley in more ways than one, not that the incident was entirely welcomed by the UK lawyer. It happened in a Chicago bar when an indignant Audley was refused a drink by the barman because he didn’t have any ID and, therefore, could not prove he was over 21.
