Dewey Ballantine has scrapped the firm’s traditional annual dinner in the wake of the furore that blew up when a skit on the closure of the firm’s Hong Kong office led to allegations of racism.
The scrapping of the dinner is one of the first acts of the new management team, which took over from chairman Everett Jassy this October.
